Types of Websites ヅ

A website is a collection of related web pages containing images, videos or other digital assets.

• Static Website
A static website is one that has web pages stored on the server in the format that is sent to a client web browser. It is primarily coded in Hypertext Markup Language, HTML.
• Dynamic Website
A dynamic website is one that changes or customizes itself frequently and automatically, based on certain criteria. It can have two types of dynamic activity: Code and Content. Dynamic code is invisible or behind the scenes and dynamic content is visible or fully displayed.
• Content Managed Website
A content managed website is a further refinement of the database driven dynamic site. The content management system provides a password protected interface through which users can add, edit and remove content from the site.
• eCommerce Website
An eCommerce website is a dynamic website which has the functionality to process financial transactions. Most eCommerce websites are built to mimic a bricks and mortar store and use the model  of stock pages, shopping basket system and checkout, using a secure online payment system.
•  Flash Website
Flash websites can be usually stunning and provide otherwise unachievable levels of user interactivity. However, it is almost impossible to carry out any meaningful form of SEO on a Flash site and so it should, generally, be avoided.

C.R.A.P. Design

• Contrast
The idea behind contrast is to avoid elements on the page that are merely similar. If the elements (type, color, size, line thickness, shape, space, etc.) are not the same, then make them very different. Contrast is often the most important visual attraction on a page.

 Repetition
Repeat visual elements of the design throughout the piece. You can repeat color, shape, texture, spatial relationships, line thicknesses, sizes, etc. This helps develop the organization and strengthens the unity.

 Alignment
Nothing should be placed on the page arbitrarily. Every element should have some visual connection with another element on the page. This creates a clean, sophisticated, fresh took.

 Proximity
Items relating to each other should be grouped close together. When several items are in close proximity to each other, they become one visual unit rather than several separate units. This helps organize information and reduces clutter.

HTML & its Elements :)

Let me first introduce our computer teacher, Mr. Ernani Mañalac. I have learned many things especially about HTML from him when we were still a sophomore.
Now, we're more of discussing about HTML & its Elements.
What is HTML?
A web page is created using a language called, Hypertext Markup Language, better known as HTML Code. We can write our own coding within a plain text editor, such as Note Pad, or use an HTML editor, which will write the code for you.
What are its elements?
• Meta Elements are typically used to specify page, description, keywords, author of the document, last modified and other metadata.
• Inline Elements are elements which stays with the rest of the content. It is commonly known as Text level Element.
• Block Elements are elements which forms a separate block.

K-12 "Additional Quality Education or Additional Suffering"

Education is the best key that opens the door of success. It is the essential way that leads us to fulfill our dreams.
In western countries, only Philippines together with Nepal and Bhutan have the least years of education. Some government officials are debating if they will implement this policy to have an additional two years in our studies. An additional quality education may help us a lot to learn an additional knowledge about our skills. K-12, an additional quality education is implemented by President Benigno Aquino III to help those literate people to learn more and to improve the quality education of our country. This is an additional two years in high school which may help the young generation to not attend college. It is because if they already graduated, you’re diploma will have a sign of TESDA which will permit you to have a job.
However, this may lead to additional sufferings of the students. It is because now a day, some children are already lazy in attending their classes. How much more if there will be an additional two years in high school and on the other hand, some families are already experiencing financial problems that’s why their children were not able to be enrolled due to insufficient money for their tuition fees and if this will be implemented, maybe many children especially those who are poor won’t be send to school because their parents cannot anymore afford their tuition fees as well as their allowance. K-12 may have some positive and negative effects in our lives.
Success is determined not by what you get for reaching your destination, but by what you become by reaching it.
